Which one are you planning on putting a scope on? <<<9mm beretta, 45 sig, 22 ruger auto, 357 colt, 38 trooper , 10mm smith>>>

A red dot sight is faster than a scope and easier on the eyes to find the dot.

Leupold, Burris and Bushnell 3200 scopes are nice.

Get a LOW power scope: 1x, 2x are about right for 99% of handgun shooting.

Let us know what your intended use is and we can steer you in the right direction.

pistol scops

probably on the 9 mm bretta and the 10 mm smith, they both shoot well for me. just targets at 25 and 50 yards , you hace already gave me a lot, thanks c.j.s.

The red dot scopes will be the easiest for you to see. I have a Leupold on my 629 and it does a great job but can be a little hard to see as your eye is quite a distance from the tube. If your putting a red dot scope on a heavy recoil gun spend the $$ and get a good one. I have a $40 cheapo on my Ruger MarkII and it is a blast to shoot, but I doubt it would stand up to heavy recoil. Another sight to look at is the Halo sights by Eotech they are pretty cool. Several companies make the Halo sights as well, Bushnell is another.

Although I own and love two Bushnell Elite scopes (4200, 3200)and have another (3200 Firefly)arriving this week-all for rifles; for a pistol scope I like the Burris. They have the widest field of view. But if you can find a good buy on the Bushnell Elite 3200 (phone Natchez there phone in price is lower than their internet price) buy it-the Rainguard works fabulous!
