Pistol & Revolver Display Cases

They may be nice but a very BAD idea:eek: You are just setting your self up to be robbed. In this day and age the best thing you can do is buy a gun safe and keep them out of view:confused:

Everyone's circumstances are not the same. In a secure room, there is nothing wrong with display cases. But the advice to follow common sense and the law is a good one.

A friend just built a new house - besides his three safes, he has a display that is basically a huge wall section custom framed and has billiard cloth on the wall. The dozen or so guns are then mounted horizontally and displayed with a lot of his African safari mementos.....looks very nice

I would be very cautious about displaying guns. Just thinking about who has been in my house over the past several years I've got the HVAC guys (several), appliance repairman, housekeeper, yardman, remodeling contractors, friends of friends, plumbers, etc, etc. In addition someone will ask me once in a while if I am a gun collector, to which I always reply that I'm not. There's just too many people out there that could become overly interested in my guns or maybe even tell a few of their friends about what they saw while they were on the job. I believe in keeping a very low profile and don't have anything gun related on display around the house.
