While setting up camp for the upcoming season I spooked a big sow. She rounded a clearing and gave me a nice broadside at 25 yards. I put the front sight inside the peep on my Win 94 and put that whole package on the leading edge of her body and squeezed. I put one dead center of the shoulder and she laid out without any further complaint. I've never attempted a running shot before. Backstraps are on the smoker as I type. The hickory smoke smells like heaven.

Sounds great, try some oak for smoking sometime, taste great and a little milder.

Dang it all I want to go hog hunting... right now I'm in moose elk and black bear country though. Too far north for pigs up here.
