Pietta Army colt

Got my Pietta army colt in the post today , lovely bit of kit .I have to wash all the oil off of it and then hopefully fire it this weekend . I have all kit to shoot now thanks to the advice from you guys ,I will be making big bangs this weekend hopefully if the weather holds out .. Got my possibles bag all ready to go :-)

I have not gotten very good accuracy out of my Pietta 1860.

I am such a terrible shot, that I almost don't care if I hit anything.

I only have one paper target. I don't need any more than that since the one I have doesn't have any holes in it after about a hundred days of shooting.

Still.....It is more fun that any one person should be eligible to have.
 
A friend had emptied a .38 police service revolver at a shave cream can and missed. I handed him my 1860 army and his first ever shot with it blew up the shave cream can. He handed the gun back and said "One is all it takes!"
We shoot those fun things at our private range, because they are a mess and not so bad to pick up after a day to let the foam dissolve.
 
Sounds like fun. I'll be shooting mine next week. As far as not hitting the target.... Move closer ..or try to miss it :)
