Was trying to take the gun apart to smooth some parts, and get rid of some trigger creep but the screw holding the trigger guard on won't budge. I use gunsmith screwdrivers but the slot in the screw head has already widened a bit with all the torc I'm trying to put on it, but it won't budge. Any suggestions?

If you have access to a vice pad the jaws and lock it in. Place a good screwdriver in the slot and tap the handle with a hammer while trying to turn it.

Yup!

PB Blaster. Buy it at a car parts store. It is like penetrating oil on steriods.

Douche it down good and wait about five minutes. Clean up the pistol real good when you get it apart to get the residue out of it. Won't hurt it but the stuff stinks.

I would not try heating up the pistol before you spray it on. I don't know how PB Blaster responds to high temps.

If that doesn't work you could try an impact driver.

Might need an extra pair of hands though.

Penetrating oil and heat from a heat gun (hairdryer) It is very important to have a selection of hollow ground screwdriver tips the correct thickness and width. I have three dozen flat blade tips in the smith box and I need more.;)
