Pieper-Bayard 380

I recently got a Pieper Bayard pistol, in .380 caliber. It was built circa 1919-1920, and came with some sorta-yucky wood home-made grips. I got replacement grips from Triple K, and grip screws from Jack First. I may have to soak the new grips in hot water for a bit ... they're not entirely flat, which makes it hard to screw down the panels. The pistol came with one mag; I got another from Triple K. Looking forward to taking it out to the range.

Neat gun. I've handled one in .32, but never in .380.

They do have something of a reputation for firing multiple shots with a single trigger pull when they get worn, though.

What a cool gun, I would guess the recoil will be a little snappy. Love to hear the range report when you get the chance.
