Picking up a NIB Browning Hi-Power Mark III today... wish me luck!

Hello and congratulations on your new HP. I've been shooting and enjoying them for 30 years. In my opinion, the MKIIIs are the best of the lot for shooting. I'll bet you like it. Best.

Greetings, I too want to congratulate you on
the purchase and selection of the Browning
Hi-Power. I haven't been shooting them as
long as Mr. Camp; but I do believe you will
fall in love with it.

Best Wishes,

I've fallen in love with the Hi-Power design in the last 6 months. Bet you will also!

Good Luck and Good Shooting!!

Enjoy! The genius himself,John Moses Browning thought highly of this design which I believe came about 20 years after he designed the 1911.I have had several over the years and it is indeed, although I may be accused of be "old school" here,my all time favorite 9mm.

Congratulations. The High Power is a classic. It is easily the most popular 9mm military pistol in the world. You will appreciate its engineering, ergonomics, classic lines and unwaivering reliability. Again, Congratulations.

Wow - there's a lot of love in here...

Hey guys, he bought the gun 6 months ago!!

He could have 2 or 3 of them by now...

More like 2 years ago.(but who's counting. ;))
Grayfox's been yonder a long time back.

kid,
HP triggers are a matter of huge debate. Mostly about the mag disconnect.

I got one of those some months ago from my next door neighbor, who was moving from Virginia to Maryland. Virtually new in box, 2 high cap magazines, $300.

Yeah, I made out like a fat rat. :)

That was my first experience with a High Power, too. I'm more a revolver person, but the price was right, and I am SO happy that I got it.

Extremely accurate, easy to shoot/hit with, very fast recovery, and just a lot of fun.

You know Mike, I'm really starting to dislike you. ;) :p

How do you keep falling into these deals?????

SteveC - Nope, he bought the BHP 2 1/2 years ago!

Ah, I see RAE figured it out also. I was wondering if I'm the only one who looks at the posting date.

So, Dogger, do you even still have the Hi-Power? :)

Since this thread originated before we had a Semiauto forum, I'll move it there now.
