OK, I'm off to Home Depot today to create signs for tomorrows's events.

Anyone have any suggestions for constructing the signs, and for great slogans?

Thanks. Regards from AZ

i have printed out 11x17 pages on my big laserprinter & tiled 30 together to fill a 4' x 8' sheet of foam core.

Oleg's picture is 4 feet high!

i am off to the home depot too, for wallpaper glue!

I kinda liked the tag like from an article I saw here this week -
"Guns - Number one in Feminine Protection"
Then there's
"I control my guns, YOU control your kids", or
"Don't rample my rights 'cause you can't control your kids", or
"I'll register my guns when you register your mouth",or
"Gun control means using both hands and hitting your target, it has little to do with behavior problems", "Trigger locks make good rocks"?

Here is what we are doing in Arizona. I am making about a dozen signs on poster board and somewhat firmer board. Mambo magic markers to write with and I divide the number of inches across the poster by the number of letters and mark it with pencil so that I can plan the placement of letter. Some will be handheld, others will have 1x2 inch lath stapled to them (long staples and lots of them).

But for my big project I am going to Kinkos. for just $3 they can blow up your 8.5x11 into 30-ish by 40-ish if you want to go that big. Then use a can of 3M spray contact cement to apply to your $2 (or $3) foam board. Black and white only. color is ten times the cost.

I am doing a cartoon that shows a MMMer followed by a big guy with a "Police State" arm band to the rear who says, "Keep protesting. We're 100% behind you."

Another one is the photo of Elian staring down the barrel of an MP5, only the heads of the stormtroopers are replaced with Clinton and Castro.

Then the last one is all text. It goes, "If you believe that 500,000 criminals were denied access to guns by the Brady Check...

"Then you believe 20,000,000 addicts were denied drugs by the DEA."

Don't forget to use white shoe polish (the bottle applicator type) to write on your windows.

Part of this is to meet and activiate other gunnies. Part is to pump up moral. The rest is all fun.

Thanks for the tips. Home Depot provided the hardware, and we picked up foam-backed posterboards at Wal-Mart.

Ended up using 'Gun Control is a Hate Crime', 'Which Group Would Criminals Attack? The MMM or SAS?', 'Anti-Self Defense Activists are Gun Bigots' and 'Support the Bill of Rights ... Do It! For the Children.'

Thanks for the ideas / help.
