Picked up my Redhawk today.

hello, i'm new to the board. i've been looking for a .44 magnum for a little while and got some good opinions and advice from this board. after looking around, i found a 6" 629-3 for $470 and a stainless 5.5" redhawk for $380 in the area. I decided to go for the redhawk and picked it up today. looks to be in very good shape. shot it a few times and works fine. haven't tried any kind of accuracy testing or anything like that yet. hope to possibly hunt with it next year. thanks to everyone that helped me make an informed decision.

I am with the Ruger. I have had 3 'Hawks, 2 Black and 1 Red, all with 7.5" barrels. 3" groups at 100 yrds on the bench-no problem, with hand loaded 240 gr. Hornady XTP and H110.
