LGS having sale on Henry lever action 22LR. $259.00 Couldn't resist. Picked it up today and now get to look forward to shooting it. Already have a Golden Henry in 45 LC. It occurs to me that with this addition I now have 22LRs in single shot break open, bolt action, semi auto and now lever action. Will have to take and post a picture of the "gang." I suspect this gun will get passed on to kids and grand kids.

That's an incredible price. I've heard nothing but good about the henry lever actions, and I'm sure you will enjoy yours. Last august, I bought a new henry .22 LR pump for 450$ and considered myself lucky to even find one.

You are probably aware of this, but for others, there is a great video for the dis-assembly and re-assembly of the henry rifles on their website. Just go to the henry home website, roll over "own a henry", and then click on "rifle maintenance video" on the drop down menu.

You did well finding one selling for (259.00) Local stores newspaper add here last weekend had them priced at 309.00 their normal everyday price. Seldom is the blued model seen on Sale here. Yes Sir. a brace of 22s would be a good post for all to see.

I was sure disappointed with mine. Feeding was unreliable right out of the box. Everyone says just send it back, their service is fantastic. I believe that but who wants to buy a new rifle and the first thing you do is send it back? Anyone could cycle 10 rounds threw every gun coming off the line and set aside the ones that jam. Like mine. Final finish seems not to exist at Henry.

I adore mine, lots of fun.

Word of advice, if a round goes 'click' and won't go off with another hammer pull, dont insert back into the tube to 'try again'. It'll jam the action.

I love mine. Got it a year ago for under $300 out the door as well. One of my favorite rifles. Can't beat it for the price. I put a cheap simmons scope on it recently and shot MOA at 100 yards. Can't complain for $300. Never had a jam or failure of any sort and shoot lots of shorts around the yard. Put idk how many countless 1000 rounds through it. Great plinkers.

Side note, I have a project that I'm working on now to thread the barrel and suppress it. Probably cerakote it too since it has some scratches

I bought mine last year for $297 at Walmart. It is my favorite rifle and I have had absolutely no problems with it. I have promised it to my 11 year old grandson if and when he becomes an Eagle Scout. If he does it, I will buy me another one.

$450????

Henry Lovers:
Was at the gun show in Tipton IN today and saw NIB Henry 22LR lever action priced at $450.00. Yipes.

And speaking of gun show, when are the dealers going to realize that everything at a gun show is overpriced. Lot's of 22 ammo there but all at about 15 cents a round.

I did buy a brick of small pistol primers for $34 which might be a touch high but only by a few bucks.

that is a great price, I bought my goldenboy in 2001, it was $300.00 then. Maybe I got ripped off. Mine shoots great, never have had a jam or misfire.

Good price

Joe:
I think you got a good price. The one I bought was at a huge gun store in Mishawka IN with thousands of guns in stock. The run great deals every once in a while to bring people in.
It's a great store.

I have a henry 22 large loop lever. it is smooth as silk and accurate too. great plinker and rabbit gun with open sights (the only way to shoot a lever in my opinion) .
