Picked up a Plinker today!

Went by S&K today and picked up another 22 plinker in between classes

Norinco ATD22 Takedown. Your right, it isn't a browning but then again I didn't spend $800 for one either.

For $150, I got a lightweight, take down semi auto 22 that's in great shape. Fuquay G+G had one JUST like this for $299. Way to much in my book!

Put two magazine tubes worth of ammo through it today and no issues at all. Going to put a few more round through it soon I hope! Plan to pick up a Marlin 70PSS in the near future but until then, this should be a fun one to shoot.

IMHO it's not a bad pattern wood wise for a Chinese firearm.

As I stated, only put two tubes through it so I didn't get a chance to shoot at paper or anything. Just "plinked" with it. Plan to do so soon though.

No jams or issues what so ever. It's a pretty neat gun, I think!

The Browning one was the first "real" gun I ever shot. I've looked at the Norincos for years, I'll follow your thread and see how it goes. I really miss that gun.

Thanks guys! It's a "neat" little gun. I didn't need another 22 but this one caught my eye.

Put 30ish rounds of Federal bulk 550 through it and no issues. Then put 100 round of Federal Lighting Red Box through it and no issues whatsoever. Seems to be a keeper!
