Picked up a new tactical shotgun

I had been thinking of a new home defense shotgun for a while and since I hadn’t added shotgun of any type to the collection in about 7 years I decided I would get something I really liked.

It’s a new Benelli M4 Tactical model 11707 (with all the updates like the 2 port barrel), I picked it up today NIB and just got back from putting 100 rounds through it, I would have shot more but it got too dark on me but from what I shot I couldn’t be any happier with it, it’s an awesome shotgun.

Now all I need is a +2 extension and maybe the factory collapsible stock

Yes they do and there are reports of them not operating well in sandy environments.

My buddy just bought one of those at the same place and same time I bought my 870 tactical magnum, he spent 1400 and I spent 500.

He likes my 870 a little better.
Those m4's certainly are cool looking though. He bought the collapsible stock for it.

The M4 is probably the sickest looking Combat Shottie I've ever seen. But I went with the 870 for economical reasons, plus I wanted a pump. I handled an M2 at a gun store and it had such a slick action.

You need to top it off with an EoTech, Aimpoint or Trijicon Reflex. That would be way cool.

All I can say is...AWESOME!! VERY COOL!!
Any range report(accuracy,recoil,etc.with buckshot,slugs,etc.)? Any difference in Tactical loading and unloading this baby compared to your 1187 ? Which has more recoil(M4 vs. 1187)?

I garantee that the M4 has more recoil. My buddy says that the recoil is bad on his, and he has shot my 1187........and did not complain a bit.

They sure are sexy guns though.
