Almost hate to ask this, but I don't have loads of experience with the 9mm. Got a CZ and the state of California is actually going to allow me to pick it up tonight after work! If this gun lives up to its rep for accuracy, reliability and ergonomics, it will probably become my primary Home Defense weapon and I'll load the .357 with some 110 grain .38 Special +P for the wife.
What's the concensus on the 9mm defensive round these days? Just to let everyone know, I don't believe in "Magic Bullets" but I think there's a reality to the idea that specific bullet weights and designs have greater terminal effect than others in a given caliber.
What do you guys think? Cor-Bon 115 gr +P? 147 gr. Hydra-Shok? Compromise with 124 gr. Hydra-Shok?
All opinions appreciated.

"The fact is that the average man's love of liberty is nine-tenths imaginary, exactly like his love of sense, justice and truth. He is not actually happy when free; he is uncomfortable, a bit alarmed, and intolerably lonely. Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men. It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like knowledge, courage and honor. It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty - and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies." -- H.L. Mencken, February 12, 1923, Baltimore Evening Sun
