Phone number for Gunbroker.com?

Deja vu

New member
I am looking for a phone number for gunbroker.com.

I recently saw a gun that I wanted to buy there so I thought I would set up an account. Well now its 2 days later and the auction is about over and they have never sent me a confirmation notice e-mail so I can make my account "official" so I can actually buy the gun.

I tried to e-mail them I have all so had them resend the confirmation e-mail all to no avail. I looked all over for a phone number but they don't appear to have one.

Any advise?

The gunbroker hierarchy/staff is insulated so as not to have to deal with clientele or complaining customers.

Wait for the confirmation through typical (inefficient and incompetent) channels, then find another gun.

In the interim, you should be able to pull up the "contact seller" tab. (If not, find a buddy who has an account, who can pull it up for you.)

You can email or call the seller, and arrange to buy it that way... although he might or might not be able to deal with you, depending on whether his reserve has been met. (Or, he might be able to get somebody to bid for you, so the high bidder wins.)

yeah I guess I would just have to wait. Its very hard to wait when you found the gun you have been looking for, for about 6 months and you have the money for it.

I wish I knew what the hold up was. It says it should take up to 30 min... lat time I checked 36 hours is more than 30 min.

as far as having some one else bid for me I don't know many people that are computer savvy and in to guns. So contacting the dealer is out.

By his agreement with gunbroker, if the reserve is met, he has to complete the sale.

However, his reserve may not have been met. You might still want to try to contact the seller.

And if he has a "Buy it Now!" option on his sale, you can buy it from him, too. (It allows him to cut the auction short.) Again, worth your while to contact the seller.

not sure you are talking to me.... but I can not see who the seller is because my account is still waiting for a conformation e-mail. So until I get an e-mail I cant contact the seller.

There has not been a single bid on it yet.

if you can give me the listing number in the next few minutes, I'll look it up for you... but I have to get off the computer before too much longer.
