PROTOCOM 704
August 28-29, 2004
Salt Lake City, UT
$325.00

Two-day workshop featuring fast-paced, professional instruction in state-of-the-art close quarter defense strategies, tactics, and techniques. Learn fully integrated lethal and intermediate force measures both on the range and on the mats. Instruction will include selected skills and tactics from levels 100 through 700 of the PROTOCOM system. PROTOCOM seamlessly incorporates the three core disciplines most likely to be used in a close defensive encounter: (1) tactical pistol skills, (2) empty-hand combatives, and (3) folding knife tactics. On the range, participants will learn and apply combative weapon manipulations and shooting positions, reactive and tactical movement, complex multiple threat engagement, shooting on the move, barricade tactics, close tactical shooting, and one-handed pistol operation. Combatives instruction will include Aggressive Response Tactics, Offensive Direction Techniques, Standing Escapes, Ground Countermeasures, defensive folding knife tactics, defense against dynamic and static weapon attacks, using the handgun as a striking, trapping, or grappling tool, Closing Attack Counters, and Handgun Retention Tactics. PROTOCOM performance-based testing in both Pistolcraft and Combatives will be available for skill certification in various levels. Space in this event is limited. Registration deadline is August 13, 2004. For more information or to enroll, contact PFC.
