I use pegboard to hang my handguns. Little bit of tape on the pegs will help protect the finish. I dont have a safe and I have too many guns to store in their cases. We dont have any kids around, and my roommates and our friends are all pretty familar with firearms so its no biggie here. I plan on buying a safe here in a few months and then they will all go in there. The only drawback is there is zero theft protection with pegboard. It does make for a nice display if you have the room and dont have to worry about kids or stupid people.
