Peacemaker-type SA in .45ACP

Looking to get one to play with. So far, all I've found in current production is the Blackhawk, and a special edition SS Vaquero at Davidson's- both in .45 Colt with auxillary ACP cylinders.

I don't want to tool up for another cartridge to reload for, but I also don't want to be reminded to "read the manual" every time I look at the gun (I assume Rugers still have that unfortunate stamp?).

Any other options my search has missed?

The USFA "Lend Lease" .45 ACP SAA is a perfect match for you.
If you don't mind the price.

Their description is nonsensical, though. Another of their "reproductions" of a gun that never existed; like their brief foray into automatics.

Or you can get one of their standard .45 Colt revolvers with an interchangeable .45 ACP cylinder for an additional charge.

For a lot less money, you can get a Cimarron Model P with dual .45/.45 cylinders.

I had a nice Cimarron Uberti with a conversion cylinder.

I shoot more 45ACP cartridges in my Colt SAA's than 45 Colt. I have to cylinders that I juggle around between my guns depending on with one each works best for. I bought both of the Colt made cylinders seperate from the guns. One cylinder was used and works good in some guns fine and the other I bought new from Peacemaker Specialist and fit it myself. I have a Colt SAA ejectorless that Colt Custom Shop rebarreled to two inches and it just loves the ACP cylinder.
