Here is another classic example or where a citizen should had never been issued a permit/firearm. Then again, another citizen that thankfully was and made a difference. …. ;)

For many years, our counties Sheriffs would not issue any permits. Then practically every it all took a 180-deg. and many states followed suit. I was curious and to why, so quickly. I asked this question to a couple of LEO types

Basically, they stated that it was one of many proactive measure that they felt we needed, for the coming storm as they might not be there when needed.
