PB Blocker

Is it 'just me'?

Yes it is; I am always suspicious of a question that appears to be modeled after a cookie cutter as in fill in the blanks. Question #1 ask about a product, and then, post #number 3 is the supplier/manufacturer. There is a manufacturer that covers the reloading forms like the wind; I asked him if he was involved in that behavior. He ask me which reloading forum:eek:. I know; most reloaders are soooo confused.

Thanks for the link Salmoneye, I think I'll just keep cleaning like I always have, know one seemed to have an answer after 7 pages and too late in the afternoon for me to drink coffee I get up for work 3:45 am. F Guffey not trying to give anyone a plug, no affiliation with either the product or the co. I do know that mbc is liked by a lot of members on the forum, I have seen more than one thread with their bullets mentioned all positive I have sent thousands down range myself with no complaints, just some barrel leading.

I think the point of most of the people in that thread I linked, is that leading can be eliminated by correct sizing of bullets to groove diameter, lapping a barrel, plating/coating bullets, etc., without resorting to another product...

There are ways to eliminate (or at least greatly reduce) leading without what some would term 'snake oil'...

I am not disparaging that specific product, as I have no personal experience with it...Or need for it...

As to the quick appearance of a manufacturer when a specific product is questioned in a forum, I have seen it also...

My take is that either someone clued them in that there was a question being asked on XYZForum.com about their product ("Hey Bill, someone's asking 'bout your stuff, here's a link"), or they Google their own product daily to see if they get hits...

I do believe that there is indeed some 'shilling' that occurs, but I try and give people the benefit of the doubt before making a judgment...

The one I am referring to suggested the reloading world would benefit if I agreed with him and then I asked him if he was involved; a good answer would have been "NO", instead he asked me 'which forum?'. That leads me to believe he missed one of the forums. As I said; he covered the reloading forums like the wind.

When a cast-lead bullet shooter Powder Coats his bullets, it renders a product that promises to "eliminate leading", to be moot. Also, cast lead bullet shooters have been saying for years that, "...correct loads do not lead...". In my 51 years of bullet casting I have found that to be true.

And then one day my wife signed me for a course on how to manipulate Google. I suspected something was wrong when they offered something for free and it was only available for the first 50 callers.

The first thing I wanted was my free prize, I gave them no peace, there was no prize; all I wanted was to see the prize. The seen reminded me of the movie "Oh brother where art thought", everyone thought I was beating them out of an education and they wanted me removed, sent home, escorted out. The organizers placed me between members of their crew with the instructions all of my questions would be answered etc..

Finally the scam became obvious, to get the scoop on manipulating Google would cost an additional $500.00 dollars and there were no prizes and of gifts. To get a $4.00 gift participants had for fork over $16.00 shipping and handling.

And then when I left there were those that did not fall for the scam said: "Who was that guy?"

What that means there are 10 pages of responses. If you had the ability to discern fact from fiction and truth from nonsense you would not have to ask. I have some old stuff called Lead Out, It works, I do not use it. I also have copper screens for separating any and everything. I do not use it for separating stuff to size, I use it to remove lead from a barrels. It works, it works best on shoguns. And the screen can be used over and over.

So,,,After all of the irrelevant BS, does the PB Blocker work??

and then:

That was uncalled for Mr Guffey...

I believe you would have been better off had you not included the part between "So,,, and BS". I applied your philosophy of what was necessary and not necessary and decided the irrelevant part was not necessary.

Forgive,

F. Guffey
