Hi to everybody. Since I've picked up a number of tips here, I thought I'd share this one.)
I have a 1860 Colt Army made in 1862. The nipples were FROZEN, REALLY FROZEN.
I had tried soaking in WD40, Marvel's Mystery Oil, you name it.
Got some PB Blaster, soaked the cylinder for a week. Damn if those nipples didn't come out just like I'd put them in yesterday. (They have been in for 149 years!)
This PB Blaster stuff REALLY WORKS!
Best Regards,
Andy
