That's my guess too. You can see quite a bit of threadlocker exposed.

with an allen wrench from the bottom. Mine backed out at one time. There was a video on youtube that pointed out this tendency and I checked mine and sure enough it was backed out. Used some locktite and it's been fine since.

. I will check my LCR before I go to bed tonight.In the OP I posted a video of Hickock45 with a LCR 38 SPL which had a backed out cylinder release screw.
Now here's a different video of Hickok45 with a LCR 9mm. Pause it at 4:35 and see if you notice anything peculiar.

The other end of that screw isn't threaded, and it acts as hinge pin for the part you press with your thumb.
