Interesting, thanks for that. I will have to check mine and the wife’s, I had to send mine in because the the nut on the screw that’s at the back of the top strap was missing.

with an allen wrench from the bottom. Mine backed out at one time. There was a video on youtube that pointed out this tendency and I checked mine and sure enough it was backed out. Used some locktite and it's been fine since.
 
I wonder if the same problem wouldn't also affect an LCR chambered in .327 Federal Magnum? Bears checking for all LCR revolvers to be safe and sure.
 
I noticed it right away, just after I read you guys explain what I was looking for :-). I will check my LCR before I go to bed tonight.
