My cousin just recently got a standard optima choke tube for his SBE II (same gun as me) and used it last time we went duck hunting. I was really impressed with his distance. If I understand correctly, the reason he achieved such good distance was due to a tighter pattern. This choke is non-lead (I think). Would this be a good choke for turkey hunting if I used heavy-shot (or some other non-lead load)? Thanks for any help.
