That was my thought as well. Let's be careful with the blind attaboys when we don't have all the details.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's an 'internet cafe' that hosts 'sweepstakes' games and the like - i.e. it's basically a gambling parlor. Not that that diminishes the patron's right to defend himself, but it would explain why anyone would bother to stage a robbery.
