Best place to try is Gun Parts Corp. in West Hurley, NY.

What did you get?

What parts are you looking for? I may be able to turn up some leads.

And, don't dismiss a call to Gun Parts. They get new stuff in ALL the time.

I know the "J"' "K", "L", and "N" frame S&W variations, and I've heard some Colt's referred to as "I" frame. Don't know this S&W "I" frame, however.

Say, Beemerb. You've got us all curios... what is this "I" frame? What decade and caliber did it come out in. You pullen our leg or am I really that ignorant about Swiz & Wizzle history...don't everybody answer that.

I frame....visulize a mod 19 6" K frame..get the form and proportions firmly in mind....shrink that picture to 3" mod 36 J frame size but keep the 19 shape. Five screw side, Mostly in assorted .32s. I think they are very pretty little things, and trigger is as expected from that outfit. I am glad Bob got that one. At least I might get to pet it sometime.

Sorry if I stepped on your thread Bob but I think that is one pretty piece.

Don't know how you real gunnies can shoot those sawed off pistolas...it just shows the proficiency you chaps have. I'm envious of your skills.

Bob. Are we talking .38 spec. or .357, I don't catch on very fast. Surly some of those calibers would have some interchangable parts with like wise models? Is there a gunsmith in the house? Sam, you use to fire 20 mm cannon and you think 3 inches is a long barrel. :D

Sorry, Bob. :o Light finally shone through the darkness...32 caliber. Will keep an eye out for some parts see what can be had.

Hey Bob,

You're probably better off looking for an entire new cylinder, not just the component parts. You'll probably find the cylinder a lot more quickly.

DAMMIT THIS DOUBLE POSTING IS ANNOYING ME!!!

The system didn't do a THING when I tried to post the first message. Obviously it's developed a tendency for "stealth" posting, though.

Christ on a cracker....

Got into a S&W book and here is the info I found.
1-It is a 2nd change 32 hand eject
2-Serial no range places it between 1906 and 1909.
3-barrel in is 4 1/4.Sorry Sam
Some of the later parts should work.
