Parks Urges Ban on Assault Rifles, Cheap Handguns
Weapons: LAPD chief says they should be destroyed, and gun shows outlawed. Meanwhile,
Washington state officials scrutinize handling of Furrow's probation.

Los Angeles Police Chief Bernard C. Parks,
stepping squarely into the fierce debate over
gun control, said Friday that every assault
rifle and Saturday night special handgun in
America should be banned, collected and destroyed.

Did you see this Quote from Parks "Why is it so difficult to find language that would prohibit the use of these weapons to hunt and butcher our children?". I thought it was already illegal to commmitte murder. Could some please tell Parks to recheck his laws.
 
PURELY POLITICS!!!!
I put Parks on the same level as Bubba and DiFi. They are catering to the anti's and are attempting to feather their political beds on the backs of the good law abidding citizens of this country. I live in CA and am leaving in less than 4 years (maybe sooner if they outlaw my weapons)at retirement.

I see it coming folks....The countdown is beginning, and I don't mean Y2K!!!

Parks is definitely an IDIOT. Or.. maybe he wants to see the streets run red with the blood of socialists (an undercover agent on our side <g>).

To get the guns to the furnace will cost them an awful lot of lives (mostly theirs). I hope Parks will be around later so we can try him.
