Got my new Pardner Protector today. Seems solidly built, action was smooth after a little cleaning and a drop of oil, cycles as good as I could hope for.
However, the owners manual is more of an owners pamphlet. It only suggests removing the barrel for cleaning, not disassembly of the action.
I haven't had a shotty in a while, my last being a Mossberg 550A. I remember removing the pins and the trigger assembly would just drop out, rendering the bolt/carrier exposed for disassembly/cleaning.
Can I do the same with my Pardner? I removed the aft pin, and the trigger assembly would come loose at the rear, but the forward pin was very stiff, and I'm not entirely sure what will hapen if I take it out. I want to make sure I can get it back together.
Thanks for you help.
