Pardner Protector and Remington +2 extension

I know the 870 +2 mag extensions are a tad too long on the Pardner Protector.................how much do they stick out? Any actual problems doing this, or is it simply a "looks" issue?

If you have pics of an 870 +2 on a Pardner Protector, I'd love to see them.



(I know there's a guy here who makes a +2 specifically for the Pardners, and they fit flush with the end of the barrel. I'll go that route, if you guys say the 870 +2 is not a good choice on a Pardner.)
 
Protruding past the end of the barrel isn't usually an issue unless you worry you are gonna bump it somehow. No risk of the shot round harming it unless it way on out there.

There would be no problems but it would extend past the muzzle about 2 5/8". It would give your 18.5" barrel PP shotgun +3 (8+1) capacity.


I just got a Pardner & would love to add the extension if it's not too much $. Who's the guy that makes them?

Well I like the idea of the extra shell capacity, but 2-5/8" seems like a bit too far (for my liking anyway).


Anyone have a picture?
