Pardini SP22

Early last year, I started to practice one handed precision shooting, after shooting two handed for 34 years. I bought a used and cheap Hämmerli 280.

Unfortunately an out of battery detonation had catastrophic consequences

I borrowed the slide of the club’s loaner for the rest of the season. However I decided to upgrade to something more modern and found a great deal on a Pardini SP22. The seller bought in in September 2021 for almost $ 3000, and sold it in October for $ 2000 after firing 150 rounds with it.

First trials at 25 m indoor

I’ve only shot it a couple of times. Outdoor season starts tomorrow, I’ll get to practice more with it, especially at 50 m.

First trials at 50 meters. 3°10 4°9 2°8 and a nasty 6 for a total of 88. Not so bad for a first time. The gun is very comfortable in the hand, very stable. I will get the grip worked on to fit my hand even better

I shot a Pardini for years in formal NRA bullseye. Then I shot a friend’s Walther GSP. Sold the Pardini and bought a Walther. That Pardini served me well for 10 years though.

That 50m target….What target is it?

The P10 target used at 50 m

The 10 ring in 10 cm in diameter (abt 4 inches), every subsequent ring is another 10 cm in diameter, up to 1 meter (40 inches).

The best local shooters will score 98-100 for series of 10 shots

The B5 / B10 combined target is also sometimes used. It’s also referred to as the “field” target, the camo pattern makes it trickier for the eyes to aim

And at 25 m we use the precision, speed and ordnance targets

Thanks for the detailed response. I shoot NRA Bullseye and International precision. Different targets. I was unfamiliar with the P-10.
