Paraordnance-1911 part compatibility

I recently bought a used para p14 limited and want to change some parts on it. Are the thumb safties the same? Too me it looks like any part behind the mag well is the same as the 1911 series. Also, it looks like the slide and upper half parts are the same. What parts are unique to the Para and not compatible with the STI type guns?
 
The grip area of the frame is different and any parts that go around or through it are different (grip panels, mags, main spring housing and pin, trigger and mag release). The same is true of SV/STI, and these SV/STI parts won't swap with Para...

All other parts (complete uppers, lower internals other than those mentioned) are vintage 1911.
