ParaOrd LDA - Good, bad or ugly?

I have a Kimber, a Les Baer and and a Para P14-45 Limited. All great guns. My favorite is the Para. Never a problem, most accurate, pleasure to shoot and a hi cap to boot. I would highly recommend one.

I have heard that it is to the 1911 what the CZ-75 series is to the Hi-Power. If it's true, I want one. I'm waiting to see what you find out. What does one of these things cost, anyway?

Personally I don't care for the trigger pull on the LDAs. It is indeed light but it is mushy and breaks at what feels like the wrong place for me.

RikWriter, that's interesting that you don't like the trigger pull on the LDA because I found it to be extremely light (maybe even too light -- like you said) but as smooth as glass. I'm not a big fan of 1911's (I'm not saying anything against them but it's just different strokes for different folks) but I do own a Para-Ordnance P14-45 and I have to admit that I liked the LDA better than my P14-45. Just my $0.02 worth.

I'm waiting to try the new LDA single stack.I too liked the smooth trigger,on the P14 LDA I tried at the range, but the grip was not slim enough for me.I think the new 7+1 will be just what I would like.
