Para USA black ops

Recently purchased a para BO p14 and. Pro custom. Yesterday I got the chance to put 200 rounds through it and it ran perfectly. There is a lot of bad press on these guns and I'm sure some is deserved. But my experience has been fantastic. If you are not familiar with this gun it is a bargain IMO. I paid $979 for it and I get $100 rebate after that. The gun has all the features you would want. A rail, checkering, trijocon night sights, a flat top slide, flgr, a good 4lb trigger, ambi safety and an awesome finish- ionbond, lastly vz grips. I really like this finish. It has great lubricity and seems very durable so far. Looks great. The gun cycles very smoothly. It's a pleasure to shoot and is very accurate. Was shooting 24x24" targets at 100 yards. To be fair I did not use new para magazines. Because I live in ct I cannot receive them. Because I have two other p14s I am using older mags.

Doesn't Para still offer 10-round magazines for states such as CA and CT? If you bought your pistol from a CT dealer, it should have come with 10-rounders.

One of the best shooting 1911's I've ever owned was a Para SSP Limited. Sadly I sold it because I thought I needed a Colt. What a mistake that was.

They do but i found a deal at cdnn sports, about $100 cheaper then the next best place I could find. Didn't really care for 10rd mags as I have a dozen high caps. Plus the pro custom 10 doesn't come with the Dawson mag well. Btw cdnn sports was excellent to deal with. I didn't mention it but fit is good, not great but nothing worth complaining about. The only gripe I would have is the checkering could be a bit sharper. But I love these pistols. Can't put it down. They are all business.

Put two hundred rounds through my pro custom. Not a single failure of any kind. Gun was flawless. Nice shooter and accurate. I'm extremely pleased with the two paras. They have some great products. They cycle very smoothly and have good triggers.
