para problem

I use a para p13 in local pistol competitions. I've noticed that about every fourth or fifth round the ejected brass hits directly on my hat bill. Is this something with the extractor ? Can it be fixed with a trip to a gunsmith or can I fix it at home ? Any help will....help.

Does your Para have a PXT extractor or the standard style extractor?
If your Para has a standard style extractor check the extractor tension, the ejector length, and the fit of the extractor to the firing pin plate.

An extractor that's clocking will change the rotation of ejection. Clocking can be cured by a properly tuned extractor and a well fit firing pin plate.

Your problem may also be caused by the changing of your grip of the gun. This is normally the case when one will let up on their grip allowing the gun to torque more to the left.

Hunter Customs,
Thanks, I'll try to pay attention to my grip next range day.

CraZkid,
Either you replied to the wrong thread or you forgot your Ritalin :p
