Para-ordnance 6.45 Llda

Hello everyone, I just got my new Guns & Ammo magazine in the mail today and it had a nice little preview of the PARA-ORDNANCE 6.45 LLDA prototype. It is a small gun with only a 3inch barrel and an overall length of 6.5 inches. It looks like a good conceal and carry weapon although the weight of 30 ounces could be improved upon by using a polymer frame (call me a wimp but once you go polymer you never go back). Did anyone else read this article. What else does everyone think of this gun or the company?? Would it be worth the $824.00 they are asking for it?

I like the LDA trigger, it feels light and smooth. But, I would much rather have a Commander LDA than an Officer's LDA. It is not work $824 either. Maybe $600-$650.

You may want to wait. I just got a Kimber Ultra CDP with 3inch barrel, have only had problems with it since. It's now back at Kimber for second time in 3 weeks. I own both Para & Kimber, and Kimber is supposed to be better quality.

Thanks for the info

I thought the price they were asking was a little too much also. Anyway, I know their LDA model won gun of the year and it looks like a great gun but the price for those are also really steep. Does anyone own an LDA? Is it really worth the money? What does everyone think of the company?

Sorry for all the questions but thaks in advance!!

I have a 14.45 LDA which I love. Nothing like 14 rounds of .45 to do the job! I love the trigger and I have had no reliability problems whatsoever even with hollow points. The double stack mag makes the grip a little big for some people but I even added Hogues and have no problems (my hands aren't exactly huge either).
