Then try Skate Board "grip tape" !

It's the correct size on my monitor but I've included its general measurements too.

You can either print it off or get some paper you can trace & away you go ! :)
Remember to use "crappy" scissors when cutting Skate Tape 'cause those scissors won't be of use for much else when you're finished. ;)

If I wrap my waste in skate tape,,,,,,,,??? ;)
All kidding aside, how does this affect felt recoil? In extended sessions?(like 300 rounds at a session)

Rae if you put the "skate tape" in your undies you might eleminate "skid marks"! ;)
I use the tape in lieu of panels on my P-16 in .40 cal & don't have a problem. :)
To fill in the "dip" where the normal panel covers the grip frame area tou can buy the metal inserts from Dennys or make your own outa wood, rubber, whatever....
I just put the tape on & added some more where the panel would rest in the dip.
No matter how sweaty your hands might get, I g'tee you WON'T LOSE YOUR GRIP! :D

Skate Tape inserts - Went & made them !

A while back I said it shouldn't be too hard to carve out some inserts to fill the "step down" bit at the back of the grip area when you use Skate Tape.

Tonight whilst watching Bad Boys I went & got some WOOD & a chisel.....

Carved thin strips for where it steps down and expoxy glued them on. :)

Now if I only had some spare Skate Tape around I could re-do the grip area but it seems I sent it all overseas.... ;)

Oh well, down to the Surf Shop I'll go tommorrow & outlay $5 or so to get the gun looking like a million bucks rather than some wood working project from hell....LOL

It's a bit like a car with undercoat on it, damn UGLY until the paint gets put on !

Well the Wife thinks it's ugly but we all KNOW better eh guys? ;)

One of these days she'll issue the ultimatum
"It's me or the gun".....

Boy I'll sure miss HER !...grin :D
