Which factory .38 special target loads is everbody using in their K and L frames? I am really interested in factory loads for the 686 series of revolvers 4 or 6 inch barrels. Has anybody used the Georgia Arms 148 grain wadcutters or the 158 grain semi-wadcutters in .38 special? I do not have the space or time to reload, and I am not wanting to spend a fortune, and that is why I asked about the Georgia Arms wadcutters because they can be had at a reasonable price. Thanks, Sling Shot

We have been using Georgia Arms ammo for six or eight years...EXCELLENT quality stuff at a good price! We (Mrs. 357 and I) have shot a literal truckload of their ammo...with complete satisfaction! Either of the loads you mention will do fine for practice, target shooting or plinking....mikey357

You might see if there are any small ammo stores that reload near you. I used to be able to get wadcutters in 38spl for $5 - $6 a box.
