Palm Beach County. Sarajevo?

As intense as the emotions are around the country about the elections, no serious thinkers contemplate an outcome that threatens domestic tranquility. The Rodney King verdict, the OJ verdict, the wildings in Central park, none of these seriously threatened the social order of our country. It just ocurred to me that I bet no one in Europe thought the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in Sarajevo 1914 was a threat to order then, either. What would be the effect if Osama Bin Laden managed to sneak an ugly package among the Demo-crowd protesting down in Florida. Would it look like the Republicans did it? Would Al Sharpton call for jihad?

I realize all these paranoid musings are far-fetched. Are they any more far-fetched than a Presidential election being decided by 300 votes? Somebody speculate with me.

Well, in that case I suppose I'd have to give ol Usamah a place of honor on my wall, I'd call him "The Liberalizer 9000"

If AL called for jihad all they'd just riot, although it won't be a skin color only thing this time, now it's a liberal / conservative thing. In the end the .gov would win and we'd all have less rights, they'd be happy in the servitude and we wouldn't.
