Went to my friends shop yesterday, and he bestowed upon me a pair of .17s he managed to get in. I couldn't make up my mind, so I bought both. I topped the NEF off with Burris med. ZEE Rings, and a Bushnell 6x18x40 scope. The NEF has a darn good trigger out of the box...probably the best I've seen on an NEF or H&R...no creep, breaks at just under 4# with just a touch of overtravel. The Taurus is a typical rimfire revolver, DA is heavy but consitstant, SA is light and crisp. It times great, and locks up solid. I will probably invest in a Wolff spring kit for it. I got his last 5 boxes of Hornady .17 ammo. I am anxious to get to the range this week to get em lined in. Then, its off to call in some 'yotes.
