Painting Shotgun Ideas

I just bought a 11-87 supermag that is matte black/synthetic. I am looking for ideas on how to paint it. Maybe if someone has done some custom camo jobs on here I'd like to see them. Not really wanting it dipped. Maybe some sort of multi-color spatter paint. Picture would be great! Thanks

Instead of painting your shotgun, why not apply one of Mossy Oak Graphics gun camo kits? The kit comes in twelve different camo patterns. Each kit contains pre-cut pieces to cover the barrel, receiver, forend, and stock. The camo covering is highly conformable vinyl tape that goes on easy and will give your gun a high-definition factory dipped look. This stuff sticks tight but will come off without leaving any sticky residue if you decide in the future you want to go back to your black synthetic configuration. I used it to cover an older, rough looking Remington 870 Wingmaster I purchased from a pawn shop and couldn't be happier with the way the gun looks. If you paint your shotgun it will be much tougher getting it back to its original black synthetic configuration if you ever decide you really like it that way better. They also have an instruction video on the website to show you how to install the kit. It's only $24.95 per kit. Here's the link to the website:

Several folks have had pics where they took native vegetation and using various colors, painted their stock so you might see a light green fern outline with a red maple leaf outline, etc. Neat looking and nicely done

I've used the "removable" spray paint for years and loved it.
You can paint the gun anyway you want and if you don't like it use the solvent and clean it off, piece of cake!
