Hi again;
Please help me find a paddle holster for my walther p99.It can be kydex or leather. I don't want to wait weeks for custom shop models. The fobus paddle is alittle uncomfertable. Does any body has any experience with Don Humes;or for that matter any other good one.I am surprized Galco doesn't have a paddle holster for p99s

If you really want a paddle holster, that's fine. However, might I suggest a pancake holster. I'm looking at mine right now. It's a Desantis 001BAK4Z0 Thumb Break Scabbard (Right). What a great holster. I believe it may be made with Galco (Galco and Desantis are somehow related, I think; Galco calls theirs the three-slot). It's extremely well made, comfortable, concealable, etc. And it's got 2 forward belt loops so you can have the forward cant or not. I know this sounds like I'm trying to sell you mine, but I'm not. Mine's definately not for sale!

Holsters

I own a P-99 and as you have discovered there is not a large selection of holstersa for the P-99 yet.I evenutally purchased a kydex holster from FIST. I got the multi-use holster which allows you to wear it IWB,cross draw, on the belt etc. It comes with 3 different belt attatchments so u can trade them out as you wish. They furnish the screws etc. also has retention screw for adjustment. It is very comfortable and hugs close to the body . FIST also makes handmade leather holsters. I opted for the kydex and am happy with it. I think their website is fist.com. Good luck

Fist

I tried the fist.com website I mentioned in the thread I sent u. Disregard,that was not the correct website,I tried it afterI sent the thread. I don't know what it was I brought up,but that ain't it. I'm at work so I don't have the correct one with me. I think the name of their rig is universal,gives you 3 or four variations withn the same holster,and the pistol is quick out of the holster.

Miron-

You might want to check out the Safariland Custom Fit paddle holster. They are adjustable to hold a wide variety of pistols. I have one for my SW99 and one for my Beretta 96D Brigadier. The SW99 holster can be adjusted to double duty as a holster for my Beretta 8045D and the one for my 96D can be used for my Para-Ordnance 7.45 LDA.

The specific model that works for my SW99 should fit the Walther equally as well.

The paddle on these holsters is very secure. I carry mine on and off duty every day, and use it for IDPA. There is no retention snap, but you can adjust the grip the holster has on the gun from very loose to impossible to remove.

Safariland customer service is also tops. I noticed that a crack developed in the holster for my 96D. I contacted Safariland and they advised me to send the holster back for repair/replacement.

A new holster arrived shortly therafter, no charge.

Hope this information helps.

Sincerely,

Tom C

I very much like the Ky-Tac BraveHeart IWB holster, and use them for my Glocks and P7s. It is the most comfortable IWB holster I have ever used. Because it takes forever to get a BraveHeart (the one for my P7s took almost six months), I decided to try the Comp-Tac Gurkha (it looks to be a BraveHeart clone) for the Walther P99 (Military vesion in .40 Auto) that I ordered yesterday. I'll get the holster next week.
