Paddle holster for hunting

I have a Ruger P-97 that I want to take with me hunting and general woods bumming. Dont like shoulder holsters and refuse to wear fanny packs. Am thinking about a paddle holster from Bianchi. Would this be comfortable sitting in a tree stand or driving an ATV/truck? Other options are a belt pack from Bagmaster- clips onto the belt, looks like a camera case. Any thoughts?

I have a low budge Fobus paddle that I use for woods bumming. I use it for a full size 1911. Comfortable, convinent.

An alternate is the Bianchi Cyclone (#111) which is a cross-draw field holster. I have two versions, one for a .45 Colt and the other for a .45 ACP. I carry these with a two inch belt (not my trouser belt)and generally find that method very comfortable and the gun is more accessable when carrying a light day pack. I don't know if Bianchi makes the Cyclone for the Ruger P-97, but if they do I'd recommend it.
