Pachmayr vs Kick-eez

Season's Greetings!
I'm looking to buy a recoil pad for a 45-70 lever gun. I once put 60 rounds thru a 7mm Rem-mag w/ a Kickeez pad from a bench before my shoulder said, " ENOF ALREADY!". The Brownell's catalog has a Pachmayr F990 for sale that might do. I was wondering how this pad stacks up against the Kick-eez. Any comments are welcome and thanks ahead of time.

I have heard good things about Limbsaver recoil pads. The gunsmith here uses them and recommends them highly.

Big C,

The only pads I use any more are the Kick-Eez, Limbsaver, and the HiViz Xcoil. All three are excellent at reducing felt recoil. I tried a couple of Pachmayr Decellerator pads and I was not impressed with them. Replaced them with Kick-Eez.

I use a limbsaver on my synthetic 300mag, and love it. I honestly think that it kicks less then my friends 308 now, and it is much easier to shoot with the pad.

Thank you all for you replies. I will certainly search out the Limbsaver. If I'm unable to find them then I'll get a Kick-eez. Thanks again, Big C.
