Pac Lite tightening

I just bought a new Pac Lite barrel for my Ruger Mark III. It's a 4.5 inch with the threaded cap so I can add a compensator later.

My standard heavy barrel needs to be removed with the help of a rubber mallet. It's TIGHT.

The Pac Lite barrel is so loose it almost falls off when installing it. Is there a way to make it tighter?
 
I'd contact the company and tell them the problem.
It could be your barrel is out of spec, or at the high end of the tolerance.

If you can take measurements they may be able to replace it with one that will be a better fit.
 
You might try a wee bit of aluminum foil as shimming between the frame "tab" and the receiver recess. The fit can be fairly loose and still be accurate and functional.
