hi im new to all of this. and i would like to get my permit to carry. i live in blair county pa. i was wondering what all i need to do to get a permit. do i have to take a training course? i know i have to go to a court house to apply. do i have to tell them what gun i will be carrying? any help would be greatly appreciated. it just doesn't seem safe out there in the world anymore and i would do what ever it takes to protect my family. i hope to god i will never have to do anything but in case something happens i want to be ready.
