P99 Oil Points?

Can someone tell me what the oil points are on the frame and striker assembly for the P99? I just thoroughly cleaned the gun inside and out, with both Hoppes #9 and a spray cleanser, and now I'm looking for something in the way of an 'oiling schematic' to show where to apply CLP, to be sure the mechanisms are properly lubricated. I know where to apply for the slide, but I'm after what other oiling points there are.

TIA!

I haven't had mine stripped down that far yet so I'm not sure. The best source for the info you seek though would be Earl's.

Send him an email. He has been most helpful to me.

Rovert,

for what it's worth, my P99' "oil scheme" :

- guiding rails on the frame and the corresponding grooves inside the slide
- outside of the barrel in way of the muzzle and barrel bushing inside the slide
- contact points of the chamber with the slide, i.e. top forward edge of the chamber and top forward edge of the ejection port
- locking/unlocking cam underneath chamber and in frame

Allways apply a small amount of oil.

I never oil the striker assembly or the striker lock, just keep it clean (compressed air works very fine).

(you will excuse me for my vocabulary as English is not my mother tongue)

Good shooting !!!

et, i pretty much do the same when cleaning and oiling my p-99...haven't had a problem as of yet.

and your english is just fine.
