Gentlemen - Do any of you know if there's any company that makes an after market .400 Cor-Bon Barrel for the Ruger P97 pistol? I already know that there are Ruger P90 Barrels in .400 Cor-Bon for sale. Thanks. DSC.

Laseraim in Little Rock has made them in the past; don't know about now. Federal Arms in Minnesota has them though. Pretty good stuff too. They're CNC machined, made in Korea, met their manufacturer yesterday. He is now no longer a 1911A1 virgin; we saw to that.
Whoops, forgot this; the P90 and P97 barrels are the same, or so I've been told. HAVE NOT seen one in the ferrous flesh, as it were.TM

Terry - Thanks for the information. I already have various barrels from Laseraim and then Federal Arms. I think that the Laiseraim barrels are the better of the two after market barrels. The Federal barrels came with mill cutting grease in the barrels' bores that needed to be cleaned before they could be used. Also, for what it's worth: Federal's Czech CZ-52 barrels need certain retrofitting to replace the soft Korean steel roller-lockers with Czech military ones. Those coming on the Korean barrel are made of a soft Korean steel that is too soft to use safely . If used, they will deform and in a short order create a dangerous situation with the pistol.
Terry, I am sorry to disagree with you, but the Ruger P90 barrel and the Ruger P97 barrels are too separate and different animals. DSC.
