P7M8 - Priced to sell?!!!?

Hmmmm.

Paid wholesale ($600ish) for one refurb 2 years ago (the supply has long since dried up). Paid $850 retail for one this year that had already had the mill-mark expertly removed and the slide refinished. For a really nice used non-refurb M8 LNIB w/2 mags, $1000 or a little more wouldn't be too out of line.

But $1200 is kinda stretching the concept of "priced to sell".
 
Way too expensive unless someone just has to have one and has some extra cash to burn. I bought a refurbished model for $580 earlier this year. Many P7s go for the $800-1000 mark but $1,500 is way out there. The new price is not even that much.
 
A bargain??? I don't think so!!!

If it came with a dozen mags, night sights, and an Alessi CQC-S holster, then maybe!!!:p
 
Considering that whole sale cost on the new P7M8 is about $1000 (bought them at Shot Shot in Jan of this year. No new P7M8 guns have materialized and must be coming from Europe via transatlantic swimmer.), that price is about $100 too high. Considering that we sold a consignment gun a couple of months ago for $950 with five magazines, $1200 is more like a fishing expedition. Which is typically what you get at Gunbroker.com or Guns America.

I REALLY want one. I've recently been offered NIB for $1150. And that was too much for my wallet...
