I traded for a P7 with the code IE Chantilly. What is the significance of this? No mill mark appears on the right side of the slide,is that where it would be located if one were there? What is the approximate value with 2 mags box and brush?

Hi Tracer. Chantilly, VA is where HK used to be located and where the guns were imported into the U.S. IE is the date code, so your P7 was made and imported in 1984. HK moved there operations to Sterling, VA and I have both Chantilly and Sterling marked guns. The P7M8 is an excellent pistol. You will LOVE it. If its in very good to excellent condition, its probably worth in the $750 - $900 range as new ones are north of $1,200 - $1,300 these days. Go to this site for more info on the date codes and other markings:
