P7M13 Is it available NIB???

I have spoken with my local dealers and they tell me that it is not available because of the magazine capacity. I have also heard that it is available without a magazine and that the ten round M10 magazines work just fine. If available, what would be a reasonable price?

It's no longer avaiable for civilians. But you can buy used ones. But why? Get the P7 or the P7M8 and call it a day!

My used, slide abused, German police M8 will be in my very large hands after ten days. I am a Glock fan, but discovered a very nice trigger in the P7 series. It was the larger handgrip that had me interested. Perhaps I will get use to the smaller grip, but I suspect that I will warm up to the M13, should I be able to buy one in California. I have my doubts about the latter issue.

I am not sure that this is the case. You just cant BUY the magazine. Nor can you be gifted it. Nor can you bring it into the state.

But lets say you already OWN a 13rnd magazine for the P7M13 from before the ban (and of course be able to produce the cash receipt for it in the highly unlikely event that the question arises).

Then, acordidng to my local gun store owner, I can buy his used P7M13 for a mere $2000. Now, its not on the shelf. No sir. Its in the back where only people who ask if they can get a P7M13 in California get to see it.

Dumb 94' ban. . . HK didn't produce any post ban 10rd M13 mags but M10 mags work find in the M13. Just convince a HK dealer that u only want the gun but not the mag and then either buy preban M13 mags for it or M10 mags. . . it's odd. . . but that seems to be the only way around the LE only restriction HK placed on M13s.

This brings up an interesting legal point here in California. It would seem that the purchase of the M10 magazine is legal because it holds ten rounds of .40. When you use this same magazine in the M13, it holds thirteen rounds of 9mm. So, did you just purchase an illegal (over ten round) magazine?

I've had two M13's and now have only an M10. You DON'T want to be in the grey area in Kali, you'll be sorry.

Add in the CA 89', Fed 89', Fed 94', and CA 99' "assault weapon" bans stir the pot a little and one hell of a nightmare for gun owners. I stay within the well defined black and white legal area, however I will exploit the grey area to the maximum. I like my 12rd Socom mags. . . like my M10 mags, also will be the first in line for post ban dedicated .22lr upper AR15s . . . or bolt action AR15s. Creative solutions for dumb gun laws.. but practice at your own risk.
