P7

Doesn't that cocking lever on the P7 feel strange? I've never shot one but it sure looks weird and uncomfortable to me.

The P7 is one of my most enjoyable guns to shoot. The cocker on the front backstrap isn't uncomfortable at all, recoil is negligible, and the gun is aaaaaaccurate. :)

Only my browing hi-power and 1911 feel better in my hand....unfortunately, I can't carry either so I carry my P7 all the time...quite a weapon once you see how well designed it is and how amazingly it shoots....

I would have to agree that the gun does look uncomfortable at first sight, but once handled it fits rather well. As comments above, the P7 is very accurate, I find myself shooting a lot more than my Baer TRS....

Prices on P7's vary depending on model, and condition. For P7M8's a refurb or a used one in good condition will go for around $750. LNIB will be around $900 - $1,000 and NIB aywhere from $1,100 to $1,300. It also dpends on geography and luck. In some places they are difficult to find.

While it takes about 10 pounds of force (sort of like a double-action trigger pull) to cock a P7, it takes far less to keep it cocked. Also, consider that you are using three fingers to cock it, not one.

I like P7s a lot. My favorite is the P7 PSP. Here is a photo of four of my six P7s (two P7M8s and two P7 PSPs):

That's not "showing off", that's "pride of ownership"!

Gotta admit, that's an impressive display! I always like seeing that picture.

Don't do it!!!

Yea, you're right, the front strap is uncomfortable, and the things don't shoot worth a d@mn, either. Takes fooooorrrrreeeeevvvvveeeeerrrr to get one ready to shoot. Don't buy one!!!

Cause if ya do, you'll want more and more of those THINGS. Like the K3 in each of the 3 calibers, PSP, M10, M13, M8... Then, you're gonna need more mags for all of 'em, too. Pretty soon, you're talkin' 'bout some real mulah.

Then, you realize that you could sell off your prized collection and buy yourself a nice summer place. On the lake, with a boat, and servants... Nah, don't buy one!!! REALLY. DON'T!

For some reason I get the message that y'all like these guns..dunno why that idea is in the back of my head.

I envy you guys. The only gun I have ever sold and wished I had back was an early P7M13 with 4 hi-caps.:(
