Second trip to the range now, and have had multiple failure to extract problems. When looking at the cases, the Extractor looks as if it is grabbing the rim midway without getting into the groove above the rim? It is a parkerized version and MAYBE the coating got where it should not have. I have been breaking it in on American Eagle (RED BOX) FMJ. Do you think the extractor is not grabbing or is the gun a dud and needs to be sent back to the factory for quality Dremiling?

Check the extractor itself.....

I own a P32 and read all about it on the KTOG website. From perusing the thread over there, I've heard that KelTec had a small series of serials that were shipped out with defective extractors (bad metallurgy) Check the website and your serial #.

As far as rimlock goes, I have found that to be fairly rare. Rimlock has nothing to do with failure to extract but everything to do with failure to feed. I'll bet you might have a bad extractor (?) Try hand-cycling a mag and observe.

Give KelTec a call and if you have to ship it in, just ship the slider; they'll make it right. Having had to deal with KelTec with my fussy P11, they will make it right.

If you ship the slide in, put up the $20 and exchange it for a hardchromed upper. It'll be money well-spent!

From Bikeguy via KTOG

got in touch with Kel-Tec today. They said to send the slide in and they would fix it. Greg - the customer service 800 number is 1-800-515-9983. Call them - I spoke with Valerie Davenport there and she said she would get it working right.
